Hi. I recently bought a sony NS36 dvd player and have successfully made it multiregion, but it seems to be unable to play virtually all of my backup & homemade discs. It just displays the error 'cannot read from disc'. All worked without issue on my old player, and there are no scratches that might confuse it.

Any help offered will be gratefully recieved.
