I brought this new upscaling dvd player ..i hav Samsung La40r8 Lcd tv

I like to know which setting is better for this tv

Yp-Yb-R or RGB output [HDMI] in the video settings of my dvd player..which will deilver better quality

I can't offer any help from experience, as my '78 is still boxed upstairs until my birthday at the end of the month (thanks missus ), but...

Page 59 of the pdf manual states -

If the picture becomes distorted set "YCbCr" to "RGB".

So I'd guess it's down to personal preference/experience.

I hav read somewhere that if dvd player is better upconverter then we should go for RGB ..if lcd is a better upconverter then we should go for YCbCr

can anybody plz confirm this?
