Sony Bdp-s300 and Fox Blu-rays

after buying the above machine a little over a month ago and installing the new firmware off sony's website ive brought the simpsons movie,robocop and mr and mrs smith blu-rays but when i try to play them i get a message on screen saying

"operation is prohibited by disc" and the disc doesnt load but if i press the play button on the machine or remote the disc play after getting a page on screen stating the latest firmware isnt installed

i dont get this on any other studio's new disc's just's fox's

does anyone know what the problem is

I'll take it that you are buying region B discs...Fox enforce the region coding on BD so you can play US on a UK player and vice-versa...pain in the arse as have a US PS3 and the Simpsons was in a shop here the other day but like I said Fox are enforcing the regions....otherwise it you have B region discs on a UK player it could be the BD+ causing you trouble.

If thats the case it could be a BD+ issue (you gotta love BD+)
