hi guys apologies if this has been done already but i am currently watching dvds on my 360 via VGA to my 32" sammy hd lcd, however my dad has just thrown a qed hdmi cable he no longer needs at me. So i was tempted since i have a £50 quid cable i might get the 50 quid dvd player.

would i notice much difference over my 360 apart from having a nicer remote?

oh and would my samsung tv remote be able to control the dvd as well
