Hi,

First of all let me apologise in advance for a very noobie question! I have a Marantz DV7001 is it possible to play HD or Blue-Ray movies on it at all? I know its not a HD player, but maybe it plays them "upscaled" rather than "true HD". Sorry if that sound stupid, just a little confused..

No mate you need a hd dvd player or Blu ray player all the
hd on the name of your player means it'll upscale dvd's to hd rez
