Sound occasionally cuts out on Denon 1930 (basic setup)

Hello,

I have a Denon DVD 1930 hooked up to a Panasonic TX-32LXD700 via a Qunex HDMI lead. No other hardware is connected.

When watching a DVD, the sound will occasionally cut out for 1-2 seconds. This occurs several times during the movie, at random intervals.

Any ideas on why this is happening? Thanks.

I thought those issues should be gone nowadays.
Sounds like an incompatibility issue with the HDMI connection. I assume you sticked in the cable properly and it is not the vibrations. Very unlikely but still the easiest to fix.

Did you contact Denon, if they are aware of this? Maybe you have an earlier built? Same for Panasonic. You can upgrade firmware on DVD players but I do not know about TVs - guess they will provide this in future.
