Advice for Pioneer 989 settings please.

Hi all,

my new Pioneer DV-989AVI arrived today. Before i hook it all up i was hoping someone could advise me on the best settings to use. I openly admit i'm somewhat of a greenhorn regarding these issues and could do without all the trial and error if someone already knows the best settings.

I will be using a hdmi connection and Panny TH42PX600 tv.

Any help/advice gratefully received.
