denon 2800 mk2 v 3200

Recently bought the 2800 but have been spooked by somewhat indiffrent reviews and the occasional blocking comment in them .I was told the revised 2800 had the 3800 processor in it yet have never seen these digital artifacts in any reviews of the 3800 , I could trade up to the 3800 if i decide i dont want the 2800 this week .What does anyone think ??? is it worth it, or is the performance now the same or is the 3800 now just 2800 with dvd audio.????? Also is there a muti region hack or mod available for the 3800 so i can use the progressive scan with ntsc discs.???
