Just bought a pioneer dvd 350 s. Good machine, but it will not

play anything else than zone 2 dvd`s. Does anyone know how to

open it up to all zones or a least to zone 1?

you'll need to get it chipped.

Trawl the net, there's plenty of good people out there who'll take your money....

you can rent an upgrade remote from dvdchips.co.uk but it isnt cheap so you may prefer to look for a local chipper

Check out the links in the forum, as it appears that the newer Pio's can be made multi regions / RCE compatible via a pronto or other learning remote.

Not certain if this is true as I have not tried it

I pasted the code into TSS. downloaded into the Marantz, put the player into standby, sent the code and jobs done...The player now auto selects region and plays RCE disks no problem (tested with region1 superbit version of Panic Room)
John which remote will you be using and on which player?
