Dose anyone have feed back for purleygadgets.com as they have a cracking deal for the pioneer DV-989AVI (MR) spock to a sales man he assuers me that they are not gray imports. How do they make any money on it????????????

I have spocken to Pioneer and they say its ither a Fake or a USA model.

Sorry to tell you max that they are grey imports.

I bought the pioneer 696 dvd player from this site and found it was a region 3 player with no scart socket.

They have a very strict "returns " policy - within 7 working days for unopened goods and you have to pay your own postage - I'm down £18 on the deal and will never use them again regardless of price

Even though I've opened the goods I made it clear I knew the player was an import and that their site was misleading so they agreed to a refund but not the postage

I would avoid if I were you.
