Smile New member connection question

Hello
im only new ive got a denon 1906av and a denon 1920 dvd and im wanting to know what the best way to connect the audio either coax digital or fibre optic digital? Whats the best connection method?

You will get 'surround sound' from either the coaxial digital cable or the optical cable - personally I prefer to use the optical connection as the coaxial signal can degrade over distance, and can be prone to interference from other electrical devices...whereas the optical suffers neither of these traits.

cheers for the reply woodywizz, I was heading towards the fibre optic as thats what I use to connect my sky plus so will just go with that for the dvd aswell.
