Hi

Been wondering about this for some time now. Sound dips while playing a DVD, it occurs at loud points during the film, example, say a explosion or a gun shot, the sound will dip for a few seconds then revert back to normal. I have been through my tv settings and tried various set ups but the dips still occur. What is it?

Sounds like a normalisation or loud suppression toggle (for late-night viewing) is enabled on the player (?)
