What should I do?

Hey guys, got a bit of a dilema here lol.

I sold my Denon 1920 ages ago, because I wasn't watching many films at all, and I needed the money etc.

However, recently I have been buying LOADS of bargain dvd's from hmv and cd-wow, and lots of them are region 1\3\4 etc, and my xbox 360 won't play them (obviously).

Now...I would like to buy a decent multi region dvd player, as I don't plan on going HD\BLU RAY for a while (I think) because I want to be able to play all my multi region dvd's.

My screen is a SONY KDFE50A12 (50" rear projection)

Could you recommend me a decent dvd player to pair with this screen, and also, is it worth buying a decent HDMI lead such as the QED one from play.com?

Would it be worth me buying a stop gap dvd player (Toshiba SD 360E) until MULTI REGION HD players surface in the future?

Is the toshiba a decent player? (would like to hear from those who own it, and use a big screen to upconvert dvd's)

Thanks for any help guys

And also, if you recommend any dvd players to me, could you also link me to the VERY cheapest prices please, as I plan on ordering today :D

Re: What should I do?

I was also looking at the Denon 1930 thats coming out\is out in the next week or 2.

How would that compare with the Sony?

Edit: just looked at the Sony on the SUPERFI site, and it has a lot of features, and is only like £90...hmm

need some more people to help me decide what to do :D

Re: What should I do?

From personal experience I can only compare the Toshiba SD360E and the Sony DVP-NS76H. For a few pounds more the Sony has better picture quality via the scart, HDMI is excellent, and there are useful features that the 360E doesn't have (such as remembering where play left off for up to six discs and adjustable delay for correcting audio sync problems). Also, unlike the 360E, an HDMI device is automatically detected, and the build quality is better.
