DVD Player with IDTV Tuner

Ok, its a long shot, but are there any DVD players with an Integrated Digital TV Tuner?

If so, preferably with Progressive Scan(component out)!!!

I have been looking for a good hour now, and i'm wondering does such a DVD player exist?

My brother reckons they don't because adding a TV tuner to a DVD player makes the whole unit cost more because of Import tax on it or something. Also, theres no point in having a tuner in a DVD player, because you can't record?

I just want one box under the TV rather than two, thats all!!

Doubt it exists to be honest. You can get a freeview box thats about as big as a pack of cards that plugs into the scart plug, forgets who makes it but i saw it in Dixons the other day. That would free up some space for you.

Well, I didn't really want to go up to the cost of a DVD recorder. These are the only 3 I can find. The last one looked like a winner at £140 but it doesn't have component out!!
