Hi all, newbies first question, my mikomi 17" widescreen lcd tv i have mounted on the wall in the bedroom displays vga from the pc at 1024x768 very well, i think its native resolution is close to that, also i`m considering a lg 42pc1d for the living room, my question is when wiewing dvds on my laptop is windows media player upscaling the image? dvds on the laptop always look higher resolution than playing them on the normal dvd player, i was wondering if i plugged the vga output of my laptop into the tv to watch dvds would that have the same effect as watching it on a cheapie upscaling dvd?
