Hi guys.

As per to my signature, I am currently using a DVD recorder (Panasonic DMR-E55) as my viewing source for DVDs via component interconnect to my projector.

I am finding myself drawn to the images this setup produces over and over again and am continually re-watching old films because of it !

However I know I can upgrade to something better. When I turn progressive scan on via the menus of my DVD player, I find the image to be too soft for my liking and so make do with it switched off.

Has anyone got any suggestions for an upgrade?? Will spend upto £300 I think seeing as the output source is a projector.

There is another newer prog-scan dvd player in the house that I will demo soon, the Panasonic DVD-S29. If this is upto much cop I will use this instead.
