Question Toshiba SD360 & SD360E - difference?

I'm a bit confused - Richer sounds are selling a Toshiba SD360, but Tosh's web site lists a SD360E. Normally I'd assume that they were the same machine, but the pictures are very different - see for yourselves:

Richer Sounds - SD360

Toshiba - SD360E

Does anyone know what the difference is? The one on the Richer web site looks a lot better than the one on the Tosh site. Can any owner confirm which one theirs looks like?

Thanks

Nelviticus

I've got the official Toshiba 360E as pictured on their web-site. Made it muti-region via handset hack.

Don't know what the difference is between them though.

The one on Richer is a 350e, not a 360e. Manufacturers often put an e suffix on the end of model number to denote european spec, Panasonic do this with their projectors e.g. The AE900 is the AE900E in Europe and the AE900U in the US.

Here is a link to the old model on the Toshiba website.

Well I've ordered a 360E... empiredirect have it for under £60. Will post a review once arrived.

At that price I can afford for it not to be the "best thing out there" - should be better than my PS2 and tide me over till HD\Bluray...

Well now I'm even more confused - the 350e on Tosh's site looks like neither Richer's 360 nor Tosh's 360e!

I went to a Richer shop today and they didn't have any in stock, although their brochure does list the 360. You can find the 350 in their 'clearance' section and it does look just like Tosh's pic of the 350e.

Maybe I'll order the 360e from Empire and just cross my fingers!

Having just bought one I can confirm that the machine that Richer Sounds are selling is the 360E. They have the wrong picture on their web site.
