dvd player for sharp lc32p50e

Have new sharp lc32p50e lcd coming soon. My current dvd player is an old sony home cinema in a box job. Firstly can anyone recommend a new dvd player. From reading other threads I think I want prog. scan, a hdmi output and something to upscale dvds. I apologise in advance for being so vague. Also if possible I'd like to use the 5.1 speakers, this obviously means the player having a built in amp. Any advise would be greatly appriciated.

I recently bought a Sharp DVS97H DVD player with HDMI output to use on my Sharp p50. I have been really impressed with the picture quality over HDMI.

As expected there is no benefit in upscaling the picture - I find the standard def picture (576P) the best. The Sharp LCD only has 540 lines so cannot display the full resolution of 720p or 1080i.

i bot the 97 for my P70 but was unable really to test it, it went N0dISK after a few minutes, so beware.
