Hi All, I've been reading with interest the various threads on upscaled DVD images and my question is this....I, like everyone else, am looking forward to when the prices fall to a reasonable level for the true HD version players but until then i'm tempted to buy an upscaling version ie: Toshiba SD360, new Pioneer when it's available, Samsung etc..the list seems endless for budget decks but I must admit that dvd's through component on my PD7200 using this basic Toshiba in most instances are very acceptable and can be brilliant at times, (dependant on DVD). Have most of you found the upscaled version of a disc that you may of been pleased with on your basic deck to be that much more superior? I had toyed with the idea of looking at more upmarket options but as I will be buying into HD at some time I don't see a lot of sense in that.
Also it seems a waste to have this plasma sat here, (as good as it is with the magority of T/west material and my humble deck playing occasional films), twiddling it's thumbs waiting to flex it's muscles on some higher quality feed.
