Hello everybody,

I have a simple question about the Cambridge DVD89.

(sorry for my English)

Does this player play the DIVX in HD?.

Thanks for the answers.

I have a question for you. does your player successfully upscale over HDMI WITHOUT flickering? I ask this 'cos I picked one of these players up today and everything works fine over component, scart, etc, but HDMI is giving me grief. To change any set up I have to have the cd tray open (whats all that about?) and it only delivers progressive scan over the DVI output socket, so the manual says. When using HDMI, I can only get one setting to work which I think is 1080i and there is constant flickering on the screen,(theres no indication of what the res is on the screen), the other two fill the the screen with artifacts and wierd colours. The only satisfactory output that works is component. Any ideas? thanks.
