Listening to some mp3's through my Yam S540 and it just stopped. Took disc out, cleaned it, put it back in and it was just making loads of noise as if it was having trouble spinning the disc. Tried a CD, still the same. Pretty sure it's not spinning as the disc is same orientation when took out as when put in.

Anyone else had this? I might take a quick look, possibly motor not working, or problem with coupling maybe.

Perhaps I'll just have to buy a new DVD player!!
