Very Impressed - Pioneer 444

I had a loan of the pioneer 444 dvd player over the last few days to try on my system. The Panasonic 160 I have is getting a bit long in the tooth now, so I was looking for a budget player to last a few months till I upgrade to a scaler and player.

I have to say I am very Impressed with this budget player (£199 multi region) and the build quality is excellent. Pictures are sharp with natural colours and there are a myrid of set up options. It also plays every disc I have thrown at it no problems.

So I have decided to keep the player, which Sevenoaks at Newcastle kindly let me home demo- Top Guys.

So if you are looking for a budget machine that performs brilliantly for the money then check out this player, very good indeed.

Nice isn't it Phil. The good news is even better though, as you can get an SDI output added to it!

That means you can get a Viagtech 1280 (or similar) and not have to change your player for very good results!

Didn't know that Rik, I will have to investigate. Not sure I have £3k plus for a 1280 though.
