i think it is the new denon 2800 mkII,because this one is about £750.

It's the same remote as the 2800. The one I'm not using. The one that's been on my shelf ever since I bought it.

What are those two black plugs to the left of the power plug?

This is very interesting. Have Denon finally conceded that the Mk 1 is flawed. I have still not replaced my "Mk 1" so I eagerly await this development.

It definately isn't the 3800 because it lacks the DVD audio out sockets.

The two sockets to the left of the power socket look very similar to the "room to room" sockets that appear on the back of the 3800.
