Hi all,

Ive owned a Philips DVP630 DVD player for a few months now and although in general its been a great player, i have noticed when i switch from a normal TV channel to watching a DVD i have to turn up the volume significantly to bring it upto the same level as a normal TV channel.
This large increase in volume seems to cause a noticeable hissing noise, it sounds like my poor little TV speakers cant handle these higher volumes.
Does anyone else experience this kind of a problem and would purchasing a better quality scart lead aleviate the problem?
