Samsung HD850 video problem

I have had an 850 for a few months and last night whilst watching a DVD I noticed a band running across the screen about 1/3rd of the way from the top of the image, horizontally across the screen that made light colours look green.

It was only noticeable on light scenes but it made peoples heads take on a green tint.

I am running the video through a very good quality RGB scart lead and the TV doesnt display any symptoms of this issue through any other source.

Anyone got any ideas before I have to contact Empiredirect about the fault. Its still under warranty so I should be ok if its borked.

Cheers for any help or advice

Try a different input on the TV, and a different cable. I assume that you have already tried a different disk. If the problem stays the same, you at least know it's definately the DVD player.

Try a different output - probably easiest to change from RGB to composite. If the problem is still there, it's probably a memory or DAC fault.
