Philips DVP5100/05 any good?

Was wondering if it was any good?

Also ive already got the Component cable. Now, one end is your regular scat connection, the other end splts up to the rgb connections, is this the right cable to have?

Thanks for any help.

I got a 5100 last week in Richersounds and am very happy with the results.

At the minute I am using the RGB output on the scart until my component board arrives for my PW7 plasma.

To get Component Progressive scan you will need a three RCA to three RCA cable as the Philips can only output progressive scan via the YUV terminals and not the scart.

Hope this helps.
