I am looking to buy a DVD burning setup for my computer (I want to get rid of all my old video cassettes). The only problem is the media! I have the Samsung SV-DVD1E combo, and can't find anywhere the formats it supports. Can I assume it will play any burned DVD-/+R media?

Also, this probably shouldn't be in here, but can the PS2 play burned DVDs too?

I normally find This site is reliable for details of DVD players. It lists your Samsung SV-DVD1E as playing most DVD+/-R discs fine, but not many RW's.
