denon 1720 or OPPO OPDV971H????

well as the title says!
i cant decide which one!

i think the oppo looks very cheap in the pics, does it look that cheap n the flesh?

can any one gime the pros n cons of both of these.
i will be connecting to lg plasma if its denon via component if its oppo via dvi

If you want something with an expensive looking case, don't but the Oppo.

ill read a few more replys but im gettin very tempted by the oppo, plus its gona be in a closed cabinet so looks aint gona be that much of a big deal lol

if anyone actually has the same plasma as me whats the picture like on these 2 if u have one or the other?

will i notice any difference using the upscalling of the oppo via dvi to my plasma which is hd compatiable!! not ready!

i think! if i do get it it will be from oppo direct (usa)
iv read a few people have managed to get away with not paying the vat too

That is certainly an option, but I think you'd be lucky not to get hit with the import duty/VAT. I sourced it from the UK simply because if I had any issues the return postage would be a lot cheaper!...PJ
