shall i change it?

ive just purchase a panasonic 42pe50 which came with a free dmsre10 recordable dvd player, i want the best picture possible, so would i be better selling it and getting a toshiba 350, or wouldnt the picture be that much of an increase in pq, i will be connecting it with components, and the fact that the dvd recorder feature on the panansonic dosnt bother me, i wont nether use it, i just want good play back
