I want to buy a new dvd player cause I am gonna get the Pana 42pv500. The benefits from 720p are clearly visible.

Which player will perform the best on the plasma and does anyone have experienced problems? last thursday I say the 2910 in action and was confronted with a problem. The 2910 connected with hdmi-hdmi didnt worked on the 42pv500 but dvi-hdmi worked immidiatly.
Also I read numerous treads here stating that the denon 3910 and 2910 were very fine pieces and perform very good, does a 400 euro difference in price is worth it?

Advise needed.

Doesn't look like it. I'm looking at the marantz as well. may have to waite for a review which is coming next month
