Suitable DVD Player for my new PJ Setup?

Hi,

I've recently finished my home setup (www.williamsresidence.co.uk), which makes the most of the Excellent Infocus X1 PJ. Now however, I need to make use of the PJ's ability to accept a Progressive Signal, so need to find a suitable replacement for my beloved Pioneer DVD-626D which has done well, but I can only feed S-Video from this to the X1.

Models I have narrowed it down to are the Denon 1710, the new Pioneer 585A and now have been seeing high recommendations for the Phillips DVD963A player which although an older player, has an excellent reputation and now available for £139. From the models I've got my eye on you can see my budget is around £150.

So, any thoughts on the above, or is there anything else I should be looking at?

Many thanks in advance.

Pete

I got a secondhand Harmon Kardon DVD 25 of the forums a couple of months ago...bargain at £105...gives a fantastic component piccy to my plasma, using Mark Grant component cables. The 30 is similar but plays DVD-Audio aswell, might be worth an ad in the classifieds.

I was recommended to buy an older/better player rather than a new/not as good player.
