Does anyone know which DVD-Audio discs this player will play, I have heard it will pay some...

The Harman Kardon is not a DVD-Audio player. It will however playback the Dolby Digital soundtrack that is present on every DVD-Audio disc but you will not get the benefit of the high resolution audio that this discv format is capable of without changing your player for one that does play DVD-Audio and to be quite honest a speaker package that is capable of demonstrating the improvement in audio quality which the Bose system is not.

Honesty is always the best policy. Sometimes it can be avoided, but in this case I feel quite strongly about the lack of high fidelity capabilities of Bose acoustimass speakers and I'm sure I'm not the only one here.

Perhaps you are right, but I felt the additional comment about the speakers was unneccessary.

I do like my BOSE system, for the size of speakers and ease of use, but if I had 2K to spend on hi-fi now, I would have bought different.
