Post power cut ,player on stand by

hi had a power cut during monday night with power flickering on and off for several hours [acording to neighbours]while dvd player[pioneer 626d]was on standby.have checked fuse on plug and this is ok.is there another internal fuse conected to power supply and if so is this a standard item regards jimmy.

If it's stuck on standby I'd bet it's blown a couple of fuseable resistors in the power supply.
The internal fuse, if blown, would only give you a dead unit.
So, it's a workshop job unless you can fault find the duff components!
