Post Panasonic DVD-RV71EB

Thinking of getting this player and having it modified to replace my broken R1 player.
Any thoughts on it, good or bad

I too asked about it a few weeks ago, but got no reply. Could it be that nobody has put their hands on it?

The video features and audio remastering sound very promising.

Also, as I have a Panasonic TV, I'd like to know if the pseudo-PAL mode of the DVD player dampens the NTSC moiré effect on the television.

Hi I have had a RA71 for about 5 weeks it replaced my RV60
All as I can say that is the best player I have owned (its my 5th)
It feeds a CRT projector 80" diagonal wide screen the implementation of the 54 MHz video processor is even more impressive than the RV60
And the sound seems improved,
I have only 1 dvd audio disc at the moment (big Band jazz) and I am well impressed

Ps I had it flashed to region free for £20.00 at mailuk

Thanks for the input
Still looking around but I like Panasonic
equipment, my old A310 was an excellent player.
