Help my Ellion is killng me!

Please someone here must be able to help me with this. My Ellion 520C is totally owning me atm

Firstly, I bought it and it played DVDs no problem.

So I thought I would try MP3. No luck. Audio CD...nothing. Is there some trick I am missing here? Seriously I am stumped. It just says No Disc every time.

I have created an MP3 disc using Nero. MP3 formats looks fine 44Khz etc. But I would have thought that the audio CD would just work straight away?

I tried the firmware update, and got the message "8 No Disc" after the Boot CD message.

So if you have any thoughts, please let me know, as I am going mad with it!
