Yamaha and DivX

Hi, has anyone registered a Yamaha DVD-S550 with DivX VOD ,because when I try to do it tells me to download a .tix video file and play it on the 550 to activate it ,but the 550 says unrecognised file format. DivX seem to be pointing me in the direction of Yamaha firmware but there is only 1 update which I have done?
