Teac Esoteric Universal Player Ux1

I have purchased the above player and can report that it is outstanding in all aspects. It plays cd/sacd/dvda/dvd video. better than I have ever experienced before,and I include as past players from levinson,linn,meridian and in the video field proceed pmdt,denon a11 this ux1 beats them all,and on top of that it looks great as well.

Im glad you rate this player so highly, but as already stated, it should be excellent! Its around £6k isnt it? Im so jealous!!

It would be useful if you could give us a review of the players strengths and weaknesses in your opinion.
My player is better than your player statements are not really that helpful unless its backed up with reasoning.

BTW, what other kit are you using this with?

Hello AV GEEZA,First of all the recomended price for the UK model due out later this year is £10,000 not £6000. and that is given by official dealer of Teac products.
As to the performance all I can say is that it is better than the Teac P70 transport and D70dac combination and "What HI FI".discribes this as the best cd player in the world,so do I need say more.
My other kit. Levinson mono block amps revel speakers levinson pre amp.
One last point,this unit weighs in at 61 lb usualy this is referd to as" built like a tank well this is no tank,it is a "ROLLS"
