I think I have just wet my pants!!

Denon has announced that it is to launch what is by some margin its cheapest DVD player ever. The DVD-1710 is going to hit UK shelves at a price of – wait for it – just £129.99. As if this fact wasn’t remarkable enough in its own right, the 1710 is also going to bear PAL Progressive scan, delivered by a trusty set of component video jacks. Crikey
