I am looking to get a cheap system this weekend!

All I want is a system that will play anything that is thrown at it......cdr, mp3 etc etc, and that it has a digital out!

Originally I was looking for a cd player that met these criteria, but the prices seemed somewhat high (i am only going to really use it to copy stuff to my minidiscs), then a friend suggested getting a cheap dvd player, as this would meet all criteria and cost about £50.

So....can anyone recommend a decent budget dvd or cd player for me please (that I can go and buy tomorrow or Saturday)
