Philips DVD737 recent firmware rev.

A few days ago I downloaded Philips' latest firmware update for the DVD737, a player that I was close to returning for its bright black level and severe color banding (4.1.19 firmware). The firmware I've downloaded now is 4.19.26 and it seems the problems with black level and color banding are gone.

Does anyone else here have this player and any further experiences with the new firmware?
