I have a Samsung BDP-1500 bluray player hooked up via optical to a Sony surround sound system. All good, however a few weeks back I decided to hook the blu ray player to the ethernet as I hadnt for so long and download the lastest firmware update. After doing so if I have the TV sound up (Toshiba Regza) as well as the surround sound system there is an echo, like a 1 second delay between each other. This never used to happen. I have tried changing the setting on the 1500 in the sound options but no joy.

Obviously I know I can listen to the surround sound without the TV sound being on but thats not really solving the problem.

Any help appreciated!
