Caught the HD 3D demo at the Miltom Keynes shopping centre yesterday.

Wow it was mostly impressive. Using a modified blu ray player and enourmous Plasma along with the "active shutter" glasses (i think) the depth of 3D was amazing. A F1 clip specially filmed was used and when they showed the car stationary it was so life like. Once on the move i thought there was a bit of motion blur. The Avatar clip i felt was not so impressive. What did empress me was that if you turned your head the 3D was still as good. I have seen a fair few of the 3D/4D shows in Florida and this was almost as good.

If you are at MK with the missus then go check it out.

Would i buy into it?
Not as yet as i have spent enough this year allready but i would not discount it.

One last thing though if there are any Panasonic peeps reading the sound was as flat as a pancake but heh ho
