Tosh SD330 Component Settings ?

Hi All

Ive had a search but cant find the answer......

Ive Just got a set of Thor Component Cables for connecting a Tosh 330SD to a Tosh 32Zd26 TV.

The setting for the DVD player are however a little confusing ! I have the choice of:

1)Video
2)SVideo
3)RGB

I was previously using RGB via scart but i have to choose "Video" to view a picture now - Is this the correct setting to use ?

The picture seems a little more detailed with the new cable and colours perhaps stronger too.

Thanks for you help

Kind Regards

Gareth

If you are connecting the 330 to the TV via three component cables (R,G,B) you should select the 'RGB' ouput on the 330.

Hope this helps.

Mr Sparkle

Im fairly sure Component is NOT RGB.

Im using YPbPr / Component to link the Component output from the DVD player to the YPbPr Input on the TV.

RGB does not give me any output to the component sockets so ive selected Video - Im just a little unsure if this is correct ....

Anyone else ?

Kind Regards

Gareth

Apologies, my error. The manual for the 330 says 'video' or 'svideo' should be selected when using the component video outputs.

No difference when viewing Component. It just means the scart output will also be active and outputting either Composite (video) or S-Video depending on what you've selected.
