CyberHome DVR 1600 set up problems

I was using the setup display on screen and I may have made a wrong choice. There is nothing on the screen now. Is there some way to return the unit to its original setting.
When I power it up there is no video spash screen.
The remote does not bring up anything, no menu, or any display.
Any help???
