DVD Player recommendations for under £150

Hi,

I'm after some advice on a decent budget dvd player for under £150.

What I have:

TV: 28PW6506
Amp/Receiver: Yamaha RX-V540
Speakers: Bose Acoustimass 10

I'm no expert on video outputs (s-video, RGB, component), and I dont even know if my tv will take any of these other than a scart (I got the TV brand new at a knock down price, and its it my girlfriends house still in the box until we move into our new house!).

I obviously want a decent picture, but more important than this to me is the sound quality, as I will also be playing my CD's on it, therefore I need an optical output to connect into my amplifier.

I was looking around town the other day, and I liked the look of the Philips DVD728, but after checking up, I think it only has 1 scart input - I'd prefer 2 for daisy chaining, and as I said, I don't know if its any good.

Can anyone advise me on this please?

Oh, one more thing, my girlfriend wants a silver one !

hi, what colour is your amp?.....if its silver then this is a no-brainer, get a Yamaha dvd-s540, its great, its cheap, and it'll match your amp perfectly. Before the nay-sayers start, I have had dvd players since thier introduction, I watch movies on a 7 and a half foot screen and through an all yamaha sound system and pound for pound this player is the dog's watsits.
