New DVD Player

Hi,

I have just joined the forum after looking around for a couple of days and look forward to joining in!

I am after a new DVD Player and like the look fo the Denon 2200, its a little more than I wanted to pay, but have been told its worth the extra! What is the general concensus on this player in its price brand? Is there anything cheaper that will do as good a job? I have a 50WT29 RPTV so Progressive Scan is not an important feature. I have a marantz KI Signature CD Player (about 5 years old), which is a lovely player, how would this dvd player compare to the marantz for CD playback?
