Digital Audio Output from PS3

Hi Folks
My nephew has just bought a LCD plus All In One bundle. A Philips Essence panel by the way and it looks decent. Next on the shopping list is a BDP and PS3 is favoured because of the potential to game. Further down the line is Sky HD. Connectivity to tv seems fine i think he has enough HDMI slots though to be honest I didn't check. The All In One seems to only have a Digital Coax input for external audio and i have never used such a connection.
Does the PS3 have Digital Coax out and if Sky Hd is addded do all versions of Sky box have it? I know I could look at my own kit but the cables there are so tight i fear damaging something.
I assume there is a Coax switch/splitter out there too. If any one has a suggestion it would be appreciated.
I know this is question that could span several threads but it is little more than a general knowledge question for those that have been at it longer than me.

Re: Digital Audio Output from PS3

As there is only a Coax In on the "all in one" and optical is common to both PS3 and Sky HD, I reckon the easiest solution would be optical hookups from both, to an optical switch, then to an OPTICAL TO COAX CONVERTER to finally hook it all up to the "all in one".

Thanks guys. Saves a lot of browsing and will allow the nephew to annoy the neighbours with his sub.
