Panasonic DMP-BD30K stops playing at 43mins

Hi everyone,

I have a dmp-bd30 Blue Ray player and after watching a film for around 43mins it will make a pop noise through the speakers and the screen will go black and the only thing being shown on the screen is the resolution (and that keeps changing).

The LCD on the DVD player shows the played time then flashes to HDMI and does this back and forth. If i stop it and turn it off it will work again, i have also put the firmware 2.4 on as well.

Does anyone have any pointers on this as its really annoying when you are trying to watch a film.

Thanks in advance!!!

The player does this on every film? BD and DVD.

I have this player and not experienced these problems. Perhaps there is an HDMI handshake problem?

Sorry if it's obvious but have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the HDMI leads? Good luck!
