Which for movies, if handled correctly results in your screen getting a full 1920 x 1080 progressive picture at 25 frames per second. So it's still sped up for 50Hz transmission, but compression issues aside, means no loss of resolution from 1080p.

Depends, you'll get varying views on this. What you won't get, providing your screen handles it correctly, is any scaling. Providing they don't chop the bitrate too much, Sky movies in HD can look very good.
