I am looking to get a bluray player to connect to my AVR350 so need one with MCH analogue outputs and on-board decoding. The problem I am having is trying to determine which players decode HD sound formats and route them through the MCH outputs. I also need speaker and bass management capability as well. I have even tried downloading some of the manuals and whilst a few clearly state they support both DD and DTS HD formats through the analogue outputs others are very vague or don't support any speaker or bass management. So far the best option seems to be the Panasonic DMP-BD80 but I would welcome any other suggestions anybody might have.  |
